Animal Loss & Farewell

As I've gone through my own experiences of animal loss and bereavement, I have recognised that there are very few options to support, honour and say farewell to our animal companions at the end of their physical life, or indeed to help support the guardian in their time of need. I encountered this void many times and it often left me feeling bereft and not knowing who I could turn to, as many people aren't able to understand that they're not 'just an animal' - they are your best friend.

I want to offer people a way of showing their animal friends the love and appreciation they have for them, during what can be a very painful time. I offer to respectfully help your beloved friend through their last days and to be able to help you to share your grief without shame after their loss, to help the healing process for both you and your animal.

I believe that it doesn't matter whether the friendship is a human to a human, human to an animal, or animal to an animal. It is a soul to a soul. The grief of losing that soul so they can continue their onward journey is real and it hurts.

I offer a number of sessions in this area, which I hope will help you and your friend. Most importantly they are about honouring our animal companions, helping them feel at peace when they need to leave us, releasing them from their responsibilities so they can transition feeling love and connection to you, so you can start the healing process together - even though you think you're in separate places. I will do my best to honour your animal and your relationship with grace. I will hold a space for you in which you feel safe to grieve, to say farewell and have an option to help the healing process for you both.
