Code of ethics - ANIMAL GRACE

I work with the guiding principles of Love, Trust and Integrity.

The well-being of my clients, animal or human, are of the utmost importance in my work. So I share with you my guiding principles, so you will have a sense of my beliefs and how I work.

My guiding principles

❤ To uphold a professional relationship of integrity and respect with all clients
❤ To honour client confidentiality whether human or animal
❤ To always be ethical and never exploit or undermine any being
❤ To always work collaboratively and appreciate and acknowledge all forms of teachings from animals and humans
❤ To research, develop and learn new ideas, teachings and practises to contribute to future healing techniques
❤ To respect and work in collaboration with healing communities to support their work with people and animals
❤ To offer respectful support to all beings that accept healing, and only ever on that being's terms

I believe that

❤ We are all one - every living being is connected
❤ Across time and space we are never separated
❤ All nature is sacred and animals deserve our love, compassion and kindness
❤ All healing is a collaborative process with the practitioner holding the space to heal
❤ All animals and humans have physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs
❤ Working with animals as equals is necessary to aid human’s understanding of our world
❤ Spirituality exists in all living things and all living things exist in spirituality
❤ I am not the healer, I am simply a conduit for healing energy, each animal and human decides how to use the healing

Working with animals

❤I will always ask the animal if I can treat them and will respect their decision to refuse it
❤The animal and their comfort is always the over-riding factor to any treatment
❤Treatment will be stopped if the animal decides it does not want to continue
❤I will always work for, and in collaboration with, the animal and will change my approach as they desire during the treatment
❤The animal will always be allowed to choose if they want hands-on or distant healing and I will respect that
❤Any way the animal wants to express itself during treatment is ok, as long as the animal is comfortable and wants to continue
❤I trust that the animal knows best how to use the healing
❤I may receive from the animal; physical sensations, thoughts, feelings or messages
❤I will relay what I receive to the guardian, unless the animal asks me not to pass the information on

Working with humans

❤I will always honour the relationship between the guardian and animal (if relevant)
❤I only offer treatments I believe will help grow and deepen the connection between the guardian and animal
❤If any animal decides to not accept healing at that time, I can continue to work with the guardian
❤I always work in collaboration with the client and may change my approach as is needed as treatments continue
❤Your comfort is always the over-riding factor to any treatment and treatment will be stopped if you do not wish to continue
❤I may offer a combination of treatments for the best outcome which will be determined by the client’s acceptance
❤Before any treatment commences I share with my client a consultation so I can explain the healing treatment
❤Time will always be given to go through any concerns or worries
❤Any information that I receive from during the treatment will be shared with you in a compassionate and respectful manner

If at any time I believe the animal or guardian to be at great risk, either from a disease, disorder, themselves or another that may put them in danger, I will report my concerns to them and if necessary the appropriate authorities in order to protect that living being
